Tips, Tricks and Squids

  • Jason reckons that email pilers are rude and I’m inclined to agree. Personally, though, I have a bit of a hybrid approach — I file most of my emails (and deal with anything that’s easy/quick pretty much immediately), but I do still use my inbox as something of a todo list reminder … but I try to keep it down to a screenful of messages and no more
  • These email productivity tips are very worthwhile too — I employ most of these, except I’m really bad about turning off auto-check
  • Users Aren’t Dangerous and How to Break Through are another couple of fantastic articles from Creating Passionate Users
  • If this could possibly work, it would be the most amazing scientific breakthrough in my lifetime. As well as confirmation that irony really is a bitch
  • On a completely different note: it’s a cover … it’s a sock … it’s a squid?
