Slightly old story came up on one of the mailing lists I am part of this week, which is quite frankly hilarious. In Japan, a demolition company’s corporate anthem reached no 22 in its debut week in the charts after being composed by an employee and forgotten almost two years previous.

The best thing about the song are the lyrics:

“We will destroy houses! We will destroy bridges! We will destroy buildings! To the east, to the west — Run, Run, Nihon Break Kogyo!”

I also love that they’ve decided to sell CDs of the song just to stop people bothering them, as they don’t have the resources to deal with all the inquiries!! LOL 🙂
